Jodie & Steve, the J&S, have both owned many reptiles and exotic pets over the last 20 years, and we both have a passion for rescue animals, with both of us having worked for North Wales' biggest animal rescue in the past. 

Our first rescue reptile came to us after popping into a local pet shop for a nosey around and seeing a tiny baby Bosc Monitor (Hoggle) in the most awful of conditions, we knew we couldn't leave without him, so we took him home, set up an old vivarium, and the rest is history! 

After taking in Hoggle, we took in a few more rescued reptiles and realised just how many people were severely uneducated about the animals they owned, so we decided to start J&S Exotics, to firstly try to help educate the public on how exotic animals should be treated, by bringing out collection of rescues and providing a fun but educational experience where people not only get to meet the animals, but get to learn about them, their habitats, care, and personalities! 

Our main goal, other than educating people, is to help as many exotic animals in need as we can.

Every penny from every booking, event, purchase or donation, goes straight back into the animals welfare, helping us with vet bills, feeding, and even rescuing more animals in need! 

Since bringing Hoggle home way back in August 2019, we've helped to rescue over 100 exotic animals, and while most live out their days with us, a few have found loving forever homes with our close family and friends!
